RESUMO:
O presente artigo tem como finalidade central demonstrar e compreender um estudo de uma comparação cultural entre Estados Unidos e Brasil, desde a influência pós-guerra até nos dias atuais tendo como objetivo demonstrar a época em que houve mais impacto conhecida como American way of life que foi um período pouco conhecido e estudado, porém de grande importância, gerando grande influência no brasil como um todo. Justifica-se analisar os principais aspectos da influência cultural e linguística estadunidense tendo como intenção demonstrar a chegada da imagem de um país cuja forma de viver era referência assim como a vinda da língua inglesa e os costumes americanos, propagandas e produtos, um assunto que relembra o passado mas que está ainda muito presente na sociedade brasileira atual.
ABSTRACT:
This article aims to demonstrate and understand a study of a cultural comparison between the United States and Brazil, from the post-war influence to the present day aiming to demonstrate the time when there was more impact known as American way of life which was a little known and studied period, but of great importance, generating great influence in Brazil as a whole. It is justified to analyze the main aspects of the American cultural and linguistic influence with the intention of demonstrating the arrival of the image of a country whose way of living was a reference as well as the coming of the English language and American customs, advertisements and products, a subject that recalls the past but which is still very present in current Brazilian society.
