TÍTULO: O LÚDICO NO ENSINO DA LÍNGUA INGLESA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL

RESUMO:

O estudo procurou demonstrar, num breve contexto histórico, como se deu o processo de aquisição de uma segunda língua, com foco na língua inglesa, a utilização de atividades lúdicas para melhor compreensão dos educandos, com base nos estudos e experimentos dos teóricos precursores de tais atividades. O ensino da Língua Inglesa no Brasil passou por diversos conflitos, mas um feito que contribuiu para a popularização da Língua Inglesa no Brasil, foi a criação do Colégio D. Pedro ll, no ano de 1873, no Rio de Janeiro, que desde o princípio ofertou a Língua Inglesa, assim como o latim, francês e grego. A grande dificuldade apresentada pelas escolas da época era a falta de didática. Incluir a língua inglesa na Educação Infantil, quando ainda as crianças estão desenvolvendo sua língua materna, torna a aprendizagem mais rápida e completa, pois a criança passa pelo mesmo processo de aprendizagem enquanto adquire as duas línguas (a materna e a estrangeira) e torna-se fluente em ambas, tudo isso no tempo que iria demorar para adquirir apenas a língua materna. Aprender uma língua adicional na infância propicia o desenvolvimento da área cognitiva na criança, obviamente nem todas as crianças desenvolvem-se ao mesmo tempo, mas mesmo assim, a capacidade de ela organizar a estrutura da L1 e L2 e expressar-se dentro de ambas as línguas é impressionante. Evidencia-se que quanto mais cedo o contato com a língua inglesa mais fácil será a aprendizagem da criança de uma segunda língua.

ABSTRACT:

The study sought to demonstrate, in a brief historical contexto, how the processo f acquiring a second language took place, with a focus on the English language, the use of playful activities for a better understanding of students, based on the studies and experiments of the precursors of such acivities. The teaching of the English language in Brazil went through several conflicts, but na achievement that contributed to the popularization of the English language in Brazil was the creation of College D. Pedro II, in 1873, in Rio de Janeiro, which since the beginning it offered the English language, as well as latin, French and Greek. The great difficult presented by schools at the time was the lack of didactis. Including the English language in Kindergarten, whwn children are still developing their mother tongue, makes learning faster and more complete, as child goes through the same learning process while acquring both languages ( the mother tongue and the foreign one) and becomes if fluente in both, all this in the time it would take to acquire Only the mother tongue. Learning na additional language in chilhood provides the development of the child’s cognitive área, obviously not all children develop at the same time, but even so, the ability to organize the strutucture of L1 and L2 and express themselves withim both languages is awsome. It is evidente that the earlier the contact with the English language, the easier it will be for the child to learn a second language.
